Accounting Update

We are thrilled to announce the release of a significant update for our accounting features, bringing enhancements across the board. This update introduces advanced automation improvements, streamlined invoice planning, new percentage-based expense types (including recurring expenses), and much more. Stay tuned for even greater efficiency and flexibility in managing your financial workflows!

What's new?

  • Dynamic Placeholders: Populate Easybill placeholders with content from up to two custom project fields. Mapping can be configured under Settings → Integrations → Easybill → Mapping.

  • Percentage-Based Expenses

    • Calculate add-ons as a percentage of the invoice amount.

    • Modify percentage values directly within the project afterward.

  • Negative Values: Support for negative amounts on invoices.

  • Mapping to Items/Services: Assign fixed invoice items and add-ons to specific items or services in easybill via IDs.

  • Payment Status

    • Display the payment status or receipt directly in the project’s invoice table.

    • Option to manually update the payment status of an invoice.

  • Invoice Details:

    • Display the invoice description in the project’s invoice table

    • Create and transfer descriptions, add-ons, billing periods, and billing types (fixed price or based on effort).

  • Flexible Date Adjustments: Adjust the billing date for planned invoices.

  • Export Functionality: Export invoice data for projects, subprojects, or superprojects.

  • Change Log for Planned Invoices:

    • Record all changes made during invoice preparation in a comprehensive change log.

    • Add a new comment field to provide justification for changes.

    • Make change log data available both in the interface and via API.

  • Invoice Link: Provide a direct invoice link that can be accessed outside of easybill.
